Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training
Required for Cubmasters, Asst Cubmasters, Den Leaders and Committee Members
This course is intended to provide Cub Scout leaders with the experience, basic information and resources they need to perform their functions within the pack. Learn ways to make your den or pack program more dynamic, about places to go and things to see, and how to plan a program for special needs Scouts!
B.A.L.O.O. (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation)
Get the most out of the Cub Scout experience! Every pack should have at least one adult who has completed this training. Course is designed for parents and others who are interested in learning how to have a better outdoor experience with Cub Scout-age youth and their families, particularly pack camping. You do not have to be a registered leader to attend.
- Three Parts – Must complete all three to be fully trained:
Two evenings and one Sat-Sun
Wood Badge
Wood Badge is the culmination of basic leader training for all adult leaders in Scouting – from Cub Scouting and Scouts BSA, to Varsity and Venturing. The course emphasizes development of personal leadership, team-building, and management skills.
