1 BB Gun Rangemaster per 8 shooters -OR- 1 NRA Rifle Instructor per 8 shooters

Not allowed at the pack level

Archery

1 Archery Rangemaster for Cub Scouts or or USA Archery Level 1 instructor

Not allowed at the pack level

Slingshot

1 BB Gun Rangemaster or 1 NRA Rifle instructor

Not allowed at the pack level, must have 1:1 adult to participant for Cub Scout (all levels) and 1:4 adult to participant for Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scouting

Tomahawk

Responsible adult (18+) familiar with the use of tomahawk/knife throwing.

Must have 1:4 adult to participant ratio and activity must be approved by council Shooting Sports Chair or NCS Shooting Sports Director

.22 Rifle

1 NRA RSO per 8 shooters

1 NRA Rifle Instructor per 8 shooters

Muzzle-loading Rifle

1 NRA RSO per 8 shooters

1 NRA Muzzle-loading Instructor per shooter (1:1)

Shotgun

1 NRA RSO per 6 shooters

1 NRA Shotgun Instructor per shooter (1:1)

Centerfire Rifle

1 NRA RSO per 8 shooters

1 NRA Rifle Instructor per 8 shooters

Venturing only

Pistol

1 NRA RSO per 3 shooters

1 NRA Pistol Instructor per shooter (1:1)
