Scouting Programs and Activities
Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts are boys and girls, ages 5-10.
Cub Scouting is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and girls and their parents. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. Service projects, ceremonies, games, and other activities guide boys and girls through the core values and give them a sense of personal achievement.

Scouts BSA

Scouts BSA are boys and girls, ages 11-17.
(Formerly known as Boy Scouts.)
Besides the activities and meetings provided by your child’s Scouts BSA troop, Pacific Skyline Council provides several events each year like Summer Camp, Klondike Derby, Shooting Sports Weekend, Gold Rush Adventure Days, and more! See Scouts BSA activities here.

Venturing

Venturing is co-ed, ages 14-20.
Venturing is a co-ed program, young people in Venturing learn leadership skills and participate in challenging outdoor activities. Venturing is one of the fastest growing programs in the Boy Scouts of America.

Exploring

Exploring is co-ed, ages 14-20.
A co-ed program, Exploring units, or “posts,” focus on a single career field, such as law enforcement, fire, search & rescue, or medical, and are sponsored by a local government or business entity.

Training

Adult Training Courses (for leaders, parents or anyone!)
Take a training course for something you’re interested in helping with, such as Shooting Sports, High Adventure Training, Intro to Outdoor Leader Skills, Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation, etc.
