Scouts learning woodworking at Merit Badge Midway

A 1-day event for Scouts to earn new Merit Badges and to finish incomplete ones.

This is different from the S.T.E.M. Merit Badge Midway held in December.

Registration opens Dec. 18.

This event will be in person at various locations, with the main even at Ralston Middle School in Belmont. It will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024. Two sessions are available, 8:30-11:30AM and 12:30-3:30 PM.  A few classes will be all day, so a Scout would only be able to take one merit badge in that situation.

Mon, Jan 6, 2021, 9:00am, for in-council Scouts only

Registration is online only.
Advanced registrations only, NO walk-ins.

Cost:

$20 per class

Times:

A.M. classes 8:30am – approx. 11:45am.
P.M. classes 12:30pm – approx. 3:30pm.

Location:

Virtual classes during COVID-19 restrictions

Blue Cards:

For this Virtual Midway, blue cards will be generated by the Council and sent directly to the Merit Badge Counselor. Scoutmaster approval will obtained by the Council for each registered Scout.

Scouts, if you email a counselor with questions or asking for clarification on something, to be in accordance with BSA and Pacific Skyline Council policy you MUST CC another adult, like your scoutmaster or parent/guardian.

Merit Badge Counselors Needed!

Additional merit badge counselors are needed to conduct multiple sessions of Citizenship in the Community and Citizenship in the Nation, and space is available to conduct additional merit badge classes suited to classroom instruction. Merit badge counselors interested in participating at the 2021 Midway should email Joe Carrasco.
