Adventure Builds Character

Scouting is a hands-on program that helps young people grow into confident, capable, and compassionate leaders. Through outdoor adventures, skill-building activities, and teamwork, Scouts discover their strengths, build lasting friendships, and learn how to make a positive impact in their communities. It’s a place where every child can belong, explore, and thrive—supported by caring volunteers and a values-driven mission.

In fact, a long-term study by Tufts University found that youth in Scouting made measurable gains in areas like cheerfulness, kindness, trustworthiness, obedience, and having a hopeful future.
